RARE Japanese Hans Christian Andersen Illustrated Fairy Tale Antique Book Fable
RARE Hans Christian Andersen Illustrated Fairy Tale Antique Book Japanese Fable
I have very little information on this rare and hard to find book. I believe it is a book of fables written by Hans Christian Anderson. It is written or has been translated into Japanese. It is volume 38 in the series. Hans Christian Andersen lived between 1805-1875, so the book must have been written some time between then, but not sure what year this would have been published, as everything is in Japanese.
Andersen's Fairy Tales
Picture Books Without Pictures
Impromptu Poets
The Girl on the Sunny Hill
Published October 30, 1955.
Measures about 9" x 6" x 1.5", 493 pages.
Condition: Looks to be in great condition. Pages are clean with no creases or tears. Covers look nearly pristine with the exception of some light wear around the edges. Has been protected in its slipcase for a while.
Please see photos for more information.
