Antique CHATILLON SCALE W/TRAY Old COUNTRY STORE New York Produce Fruit
This is a metal Chatillon Scale and Tray. It is made of metal, and looks like brass with nickel plating that is worn through in many spots. The glass looks like it is the original glass. The scale weighs from 0 to 10 pounds. It is in good cosmetic condition as you can see from the included photos.
Measures approx. 32" tall and 19" across. The top unhooks from the holder part. The face measures 10" in diameter
Appears to be fairly accurate as well. This would be a cute addition to any home or store as a functional piece of decor. Holder is bent slightly.
The face of the scale says: "John Chatillon & Sons, New York. Improved Spring Balance". The bottom of the scale has the original Chatillon markings (see photos).
