Early 1900s Startups Candy Co Chewing Gum Box Provo UTAH Magnolia Perfume OLD!
Circa 1920's Startup's Candy Co. Magnolia Superfume Perfume Chewing Gum
This listing is for a flat diecupt piece of advertising from the Startup's Candy Company in Provo, Utah. It is New/Old stock that was made to be a box. Paper is somewhat brittle, so I don't recommend folding it up as a box, as it might crack and split. This cool advertising piece is for displaying the gum for sale in a retail store, and gives instructions on how to use it for a counter-top display. Guessing it was made in the 1920's or 30's. Flavors of gum listed include Buy-Roz, Floro, Vie-Let, Grapeberry, Checkerberry, Oriental Bouquet, Fruity-Fruit, Extra-Mint, Spearmint, Licorice, Acorn Pepsin, and Scarf's Cough Gum. The package claims to whiten teeth, and have lasting flavors. Colors are red and green on an off-white background.
Advertisement is in excellent condition. It is new/old stock from the Startups Candy Factory in Provo, Utah. The white front of the cardboard has some slight foxing to the edges.
A retro and sweet piece of antique Chewing Gum advertising!
